Field notes

What it is like to shoot in Warsaw

We filmed a SaaS company series across two Wola towers, then covered a fintech summit at PGE Narodowy the same week. Warsaw's production day rate goes further than in most Western European capitals while the crew base matches the standard.

Our regular Warsaw workflow covers SaaS, banking, and shared services. We crew with a local production assistant, a dedicated sound recordist, and a lighting team that knows the venues — including PGE Narodowy — well enough to walk in cold and still finish on time.

Warsaw expertise

Filming at Warsaw's Premier Corporate Venues

Warsaw B2B production concentrates around three venues: PGE Narodowy in Praga-Południe for arena-format keynote scale, EXPO XXI in Wola for industrial trade and pharma congresses, and a tier of central Warsaw hotel ballrooms in Śródmieście for finance and KOL fireside formats. Stolica Warszawa permits run 10 working days; the Mazowiecki Wojewoda handles regional crossover work.

1. PGE Narodowy Conference Centre

Praga-Południe

PGE Narodowy's conference level gives a 58,000-seat bowl plus 30+ purpose-built conference rooms with broadcast-grade rigging in the Skybox and Business Club spaces. We use the bowl for arena-format pharma plenaries (multiple Eastern European cardiology and oncology congresses) and finance keynotes. Acoustically the bowl is challenging (RT60 ~3.2s with retractable roof closed) and we always tap FOH from the in-house Meyer Sound LEO rig at -10 dBu rather than capturing ambient. Load-in via the Aleja Księcia J. Poniatowskiego dock takes 8 artics. Power is 3-phase 600A. The skybox conference rooms (RT60 ~0.9s, treated) are our preferred KOL fireside venues.

2. EXPO XXI Warsaw

Wola

EXPO XXI gives 10m clear ceiling across its main pavilions with 4m grid rigging and 3-phase 400A per position. We use it for industrial trade (Warsaw Industry Week, Warsaw Pack) and pharma KOL congresses. Acoustically the halls run RT60 ~2.6s open and every KOL is hardwired DPA 4080. Load-in via the Prądzyńskiego service road takes 6 artics with 24-hour access. Power is 3-phase 400A per position. The Wola district is rapidly densifying and traffic restrictions during morning peak (07:00–09:30) affect kit transit — we always run early-morning bump-in. The conference auditorium adjacent gives a 7m ceiling for HCP-facing breakout work with RT60 ~1.1s.

3. Hotel Bristol Warsaw

Śródmieście / Krakowskie Przedmieście

Hotel Bristol's Marconi Ballroom gives a 1901 Art Nouveau aesthetic that reads premium for finance and pharma KOL fireside content. Ceiling is 6.4m under restored plasterwork. Acoustically the room is bright (RT60 ~1.4s on plaster and marble) and we lay sound blankets behind camera and double-skin the talent area. Load-in via Krakowskie Przedmieście is constrained: no dedicated dock, freight elevator at 1.9m wide, and a 30-minute loading zone permit only. Power is single-phase 32A per circuit plus one 3-phase tie-in. The venue's proximity to the Polish Presidential Palace makes it our default KOL venue for any politically-adjacent finance deliverable.

Polish pharma KOL deliverables for URPL-aligned audiences need Polish voiceover with name-card supers in Polish script; we lock all language tracks to time-code at the rough-cut stage to keep the medical affairs sign-off on the original schedule.

Warsaw's Video Production Market

Warsaw is Central Europe's fastest-growing business hub, home to a booming shared services and BPO sector, major fintech companies, and the regional offices of global corporations. From the modern towers of Wola to the established business district of Mokotów, B2B brands in IT, financial services, manufacturing, and energy compete for attention in a market of 38 million consumers. Warsaw's PTAK Expo and the Palace of Culture host major trade fairs and conferences, making professional video content essential for brands targeting the Polish and CEE market.

Why Professional Video Delivers ROI

Polish B2B audiences are among the most digitally active in Central Europe — video content on LinkedIn Polska generates 4x higher engagement than static posts. For Warsaw's IT services, fintech, and manufacturing sectors, a polished corporate film serves investor relations, trade show presentations, LinkedIn campaigns, and recruitment content across Polish and English-speaking markets. We deliver in every format, ensuring your production budget works across CEE channels.

Equipment & Crew

Our Warsaw crews shoot on Sony FX6 and RED Komodo cinema cameras with Zeiss CP.3 and Sony G Master lenses. We carry Aputure 600d lighting, DJI RS3 Pro stabilisers, Sennheiser wireless audio, and DJI Mavic 3 Pro drones for aerial work. Every setup is built for Warsaw's varied environments — from the glass-walled offices of Wola's business district to the historic grandeur of venues in Śródmieście.

Coverage Area

Our crew is based in Warsaw but we cover all of Poland — Kraków, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Poznań, and Łódź. Multi-city CEE shoots spanning Prague, Budapest, Bucharest, and Berlin are coordinated from our Warsaw hub, giving you one point of contact, consistent quality, and a single invoice.
